Meet the Owners: Audrey & Callie Cravotta
Audrey (left) has never met a dog who couldn't be won over with love, affection, and of course plenty of play. She's a bit of a crazy critter lady and has lifelong experience working with with dogs, cats, large mammals, and exotic pets. In her free time, she likes to explore the world through backpacking, hiking, rock climbing, and riding her electric unicycle. Callie (right) is an extremely high energy rescue dog. Though her backstory was tragic, she's lived the life of utmost luxury these last 5 years. Her hobbies include exploring deep trails, swiveling her giant hears to listen for squirrels, attacking orange parking cones, dragging massive sticks (entire dead trees) for long distances, swimming faster than any other dog she's met, and chasing tennis balls. Mountain Dog Adventures was established in 2009 as a way to spend time with animals when Audrey lived in the college dorms without a dog. Since then, the business evolved from pet sitting to dog fitness and health. Aside from whipping dozens of dogs into excellent shape, Audrey has studied under service dog trainer Joe Dickinson of Western States Canine College in Utah and trained as a veterinary technician. Over the last nine years, she has volunteered at animal shelters across the country and fostered 25 cats.
