T.D.
Audrey was the first pet sitter to take care of my dog when he was just three months old. In the five years since then, Audrey has taken care of my dog many times including last month and I'm on her schedule for six days over the next two months. While pet sitting, she has taken my dog with her camping and on numerous day trips, including Christmas day at her family's gathering. When my dog was still a pup, he swallowed part of a dog toy when I was out of town and Audrey made a couple of trips to the vet to make sure he was OK and she kept me consoled the whole time. I can also attest to Audrey's dog training skills as my dog is very well behaved thanks to her. I have to add that my dog gets more excited about seeing Audrey than he does when I come home. That says a lot about her in my view. Jim Daniel – Austin, TX |
ABBEY, JENNY, HARVEY, & BABUSHKA
Audrey has been the number-one most reliable person we've ever had watch our home, our dogs, and our cats when we go out of town. We always have friends who can come feed our cats when we are away, or maybe let the dogs into the backyard for a little while. But our animals are a big part of our active lives, and Audrey probably even one-ups us with trips to the park, swimming, hiking and lots of loving attention. Honestly, at this point our dogs probably love it when we go out of town if they know that Audrey is going to be taking care of them. (The cats aren't complaining, either). LUCY
I can't say enough about how amazing Audrey is! Her boundless spirit and amazing energy is totally infectious, in our house both the humans and the pets get excited and happy when she is around. She took amazing care of our cat Lucy and gave her so much love when we traveled - not an easy task as Lucy had kidney issues that required a watchful eye, and she always demanded tons of attention. I was never totally comfortable leaving her until we met Audrey, and from then on I felt like I was leaving her with family and could actually relax while on the road. Audrey is reliable, professional, caring, and so sweet - we're so grateful for her! Colleen Lasnier – Austin, TX |
RUCA
Audrey is a life saver! We hired her within two weeks of adopting our best friend Ruca. We did not plan to adopt a dog, we just fell in love and had to have her. But she was full of behavioral problems, and on top of that we travel all the time. We were not in a position to get a dog, but it worked out because of Audrey.
Ruca is very sweet but is extremely high energy and needs hours of exercise every day. We hired Audrey because she is able to take Ruca on long hikes in the mountains. I think she (Ruca) really loves it. Actually Audrey seems to love it too! Whenever I'm in the car with Ruca and we drive on Audrey's block, she starts going crazy and has even tried to jump out of the car when the windows are rolled down.
Anyway, when we adopted Ruca she had pretty severe separation anxiety and wasn't house trained at all. Audrey worked with us on creating a training program for Ruca and within weeks it was like they were never even an issue in the first place. Also when we first got her she would always lunge for cats when we'd walk her in the neighborhood. But Audrey always seemed to be fostering cats, and we were shocked and amazed when Ruca tried to adopt one of Audrey's foster litters. She even tried to nurse the kittens and took it upon herself to clean them and monitor them at all times.

MEEKO & MOSBY
When I hired Audrey, she didn't have any experience working with ferrets. But she was the cheapest and seemed eager to learn, so I took a leap of faith. Well one thing to know about ferrets is that they have a tendency to get depressed if they're locked up or poorly cared for. I was happy to see that after a long trip away, they were their same happy selves! Audrey seemed to really love playing with them -- she would be a great ferret owner! Also, one of my ferrets is not potty-trained and the other has a tendency to get stuck in really bad places (like between the springs in my couch), but Audrey kept them safe and my house clean! I don't travel often, but if I do leave again I'll call her again. DeAnna – Salt Lake City, UT |
RILO
I met Audrey through a friend after I was faced with the prospect of having to get rid of my cat Rilo when my landlord found out I had her. Audrey saved us. It took me 6 months to find a new place, and Rilo lived with her during that time. I was able to visit often, and it was clear to me that she was passionate about caring for my sweet Rilo and loved her as much as I do. I was amazed at all the tricks Rilo learned. They had a whole funny routine whenever I'd come home. Rilo would jump on the bed, then stand up on just her back legs while stretching her front legs. Then she'd jump onto Audrey's back and do some tricks, and hang out around her neck like a scarf. It was funny but I could never get her to do that stuff with me. Audrey really helped me out and I'll always be thankful for her. Sarah Moser – Bryn Mawr, PA |
THE MILLER FAMILY
First let me start by listing my pets -- I have three labs (mother, daughter, & granddaughter) and a very old and decrepit pug. I also have twelve chickens. I hired Audrey because I felt she could handle the variety in responsibilities and energy levels of my dogs, and I am happy to say she did so splendidly. My husband and I travel a lot, so she stayed in our home several days a month. I am especially impressed that our home is spotless upon return every time, despite the ridiculous amount of fur and drool that we have to deal with on a daily basis. We have always been very happy with her services.

LENNY, JOEY & PACO
It's been a few years since Audrey moved out of state, and I can honestly say I haven't found a solid replacement for her. I kind of can't help myself when it comes to "broken" animals, so I have become a bit of a crazy dog lady. I have three disabled dogs, but I work about 60 hours a week, so I needed somebody who could come spend time with them while working around their disabilities. Joey can't really walk because he has a bum leg. Lenny is emotionally crippled and is extremely afraid of everybody -- everybody except me and Audrey. Finally, Paco needs medication three times a day.
I can't just leave the dogs outside because there are hawks, and they could swoop down and take Paco. It happened to my neighbor. So I had Audrey come over for an hour in late morning and an hour in the evening. Bless her, she would have to clean out stains because Lenny has bad incontinence issues. Whenever I'd come home they'd all three be so relaxed. I asked her why they seemed so calm all the time and she told me that she thought it was because she'd give them long massages. I didn't even know dog massages was a thing! What really impressed me about her is how great she was with Lenny. Years later, he still absolutely hates every person who comes into the house. He cowers in fear underneath the armchair and it breaks my heart. I think within just a week, they were practically best friends.
I'm sad to say after only 4 months she had to move across the country. Please come back!
